Today is the day you left us. Mum you waited for Paul and me to get home. We managed to get a flight back to Manchester and Cal came to fetch us so we could see you before you finally left us. I will be thankful that you waited for me, forever. You went so suddenly without a chance to say goodbye. Sleep peacefully now and we will be with you always, until we meet again, hugs and kisses xxx Sylvia Harrison was born in Coventry on May 08, 1933. Known to all her friends as Sylv. She is the loving wife of Dennis. Very special Mum to Sue, Ruth & Andy. Best ever Nan to Kelly, Craig, Sarah, Chrissy, Lauren and Lewis. Mother-in-law to Cal & Paul. A special friend to all. She married Dennis the love of her life on 8 May 1954 and became Sylvia Clarke. Sylvia and Dennis had 55 very happy years of married life. They had their first child on 20 March 1960, a daughter they named Susan Christine, their second daughter was born on 5 December 1962 they named her Ruth Yvonne and finally the long awaited son arrived on 20 August 1966 named Andrew Derek in memory of Sylvia's brother Derek, who was tragically killed in the war xxx Then followed the grandchildren that Sylvia loved so dearly, (Ruth's) Kelly and Craig, (Sue's) Sarah and Chrissy, (Andy's) Lauren and Lewis. She loved to listen to Daniel O'Donnell and see him in concert whenever she could, with her good friends, Ann and Rosemary. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever xx
